Impacts on the Environment
Our goal is to create delicious chocolates that bring joy to people's lives while making a positive impact on the planet. We believe that by taking action to reduce our environmental impact, we can help create a more sustainable future for everyone.
At Nómada, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and contributing positively to the planet. We believe that all companies have a responsibility to take measures to protect the environment and we are proud to have planet earth as our focus.
Goals 2028
By the year 2028, we have set ambitious goals to reduce our environmental impact. One of our main goals is to reduce the amount of plastic used in our packaging, with the goal of using 100% recyclable or biodegradable packaging materials by 2028. We are also exploring new innovative packaging materials that are more sustainable and have a lower environmental impact.
Another important area of focus for us is reducing our carbon footprint. We focus on purchasing ingredients that are sent by sea whenever possible, as this reduces the amount of CO2 emitted during transport. We are also exploring ways to reduce our energy use, including using solar panels to generate electricity and implementing energy-efficient production processes.
Our commitment to the planet extends to every aspect of our business, from the ingredients we use to the way we produce and package our chocolate. We believe that small-scale artisanal production methods are more sustainable and environmentally friendly than large-scale industrial processes, and we are very proud to be a small chocolate maker.
Respect for Humanity
In addition to the environment, we are also concerned about ensuring that our cocoa comes from an ethical source that guarantees the absence of child labor and precarious work. We believe that responsible sourcing is essential for both the planet and the people involved in the production of our chocolates and we are proud to work with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.
